Three years was the gap between the last Radio Skool release and along with the cover art (a take on the second De La Soul LP) it was obvious those three years were a transitional period for a retrospective fellow…unmotivated with dj’ing as well as with most of the music he once adored, uninspired by the position of what once was.

In another sense however he is clearly excited by some of the noise that his more innovative contemporaries were creating…turned on by these sounds was enough to craft one more foray into the world of Radio Skool and in turn this instalment best illustrates the marriage between the development of music and production and A La Fu’s journey from the golden age of hip hop up to the so called glitchy, dub step, bass heavy, intricately programmed sounds of today…and of course tomorrow.

Again the package is complete with a beautifully crafted sleeve complete with full track listing and a little bonus track perhaps. Radio Skool Is Dead…long live Radio Skool
